AwareNearth uses science and ‘edutainment’ (educational entertainment) to share positive stories of environmental protection and connect local initiatives with global policy-making to foster a better present and a sustainable future for people and nature.
Basel Peace Office (BPO) is a coalition of four Swiss organizations and four international organizations working for the peace and security of a nuclear weapon-free world. BPO co-hosts a number of initiatives including the Climate-Nuclear Nexus, Common Security Platform, Move the Nuclear Weapons Money, NoFirstUse Global, UNFOLD ZERO and the Peace, nuclear Abolition and Climate Engaged Youth (PACEY) Awards.
The Baha’i International Community represents the worldwide Baha’i community, whose members come from every national, ethnic, religious, cultural, and socio-economic background, representing a cross-section of humanity. The overarching objective of the Baha’i International Community (BIC) is to contribute to the construction of a more peaceful and just global order. BIC maintains United Nations offices in New York and Geneva, as well as regional offices in Addis Ababa, Brussels, and Jakarta in order to contribute to policy discourses at the international level through collaboration with individuals, groups, and organizations. BIC is active in a number of international coalitions including the Coalition for the UN we Need.
The Center for Environmental Ethics and Law (CEEL) is established to bear witness to, share, and expand upon principles of environmental ethics in order to better inform local, regional, national, and international decision-makers when drafting and implementing law, policies, and programs. CEEL comprises a network of non-governmental organizations focusing on environmental law and policy, led by a Board of Experts.
Citizens for Global Solutions (CGS) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan membership-based United States organization that for more than 75 years has brought together a diverse collective of individuals and organizations with a common goal of a unified world predicated upon peace, human rights, and the rule of law. From championing ratification of the UN Charter upon our establishment in 1947 to supporting creation of the International Criminal Court (ICC) 25 years ago to advocating for global instruments to confront today’s enduring challenges of war and climate degradation, CGS recognizes that true progress is a generational enterprise. CGS is the United States affiliate of the World Federalist Movement.
The Climate Parliament is a global, cross-party network of legislators working to inform and mobilize Members of Parliament and Congress to take action on the climate emergency. The Climate Parliament organizes international face-to-face and virtual parliamentary roundtable meetings on different aspects of the climate agenda. Leading experts brief the legislators, and recommendations for parliamentary action are discussed. MPs learn about the successes and targets of other countries, and then work to encourage their own governments to move faster. This has already resulted in a number of policy achievements from the actions of participating parliamentarians. Since 2012 the Climate Parliament has informed and motivated more than 2000 MPs in 121 different countries. In line with gender equity policy, 40% of participating parliamentarians were women.
Climate Rights International works to advance the symbiotic relationship between climate protection and human rights, i.e. that climate change cannot succeed without protecting human rights – and the fight for human rights cannot succeed without protecting our planet against climate change. Climate Rights International works in partnership with local and international groups to document how human rights violations contribute to climate change, and how climate change contributes to human rights abuses.
Climate Rights International presses governments and corporations to take urgent action to end abuses, limit greenhouse gas emissions, and protect vital carbon sinks. And they partner with activists and affected communities to demand justice and accountability from powerful interests that put their lives and their children’s lives at risk.
Coalition for the UN We Need (C4UN), was established in 2017 to provide a platform and inclusive space for civil society to engage in building a stronger and more effective United Nations system. The Coalition monitors UN processes – especially UN Summits – and organizes effective meetings, events and civil society advocacy relating to these processes.
For the UN75 Summit in 2020, the Coalition developed a UN75 People’s Declaration and Global Plan of Action and facilitated advocacy on this. For the UN Summit of the Future (September 2024), C4UN has organized global civil society consultations including a Global Futures Forum to produce an Interim People’s Pact for the Future, with 33 civil society proposals on strengthening and improving the UN system, to feed into the Summit.
The Coalition is managed by a steering committee with representatives from Baha’i International Community, Global Call to Action Against Poverty (GCAP), Global Partnership for the Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC), Group of Women Leaders for Change and Inclusion, International Alliance of Women, Oxfam International, SDGs Kenya Forum, Stimson Center and UNA-UK/Together First.
The mission of the Common Home of Humanity (CHH) is to contribute to achieve the legal definition and recognition of a Stable Climate as a Global Common that spans across borders as the structural basis for building a regenerative economy and a new global governance system for Humanity.
This legal recognition requires a Critical Legal Innovation capable of legally representing a well-functioning Earth-System that corresponds to a Stable Climate as an Intangible Common Heritage of Humankind.
Democracy Without Borders is an international organization with headquarters in Germany which supports global democracy and a holistic approach to democracy promotion that spans from the local to the global levels and at the same time embraces the dimensions of representation, participation, deliberation and co-decision. Democracy without Borders campaigns, in particular, for a UN Special Rapporteur on Democracy, a UN World Citizens’ Initiative and a UN Parliamentary Assembly.
The Earth Trusteeship Initiative is established to highlight current examples of trusteeship arrangements and mechanisms at local, national and international levels, and to strengthen and expand earth trusteeship in order to better manage natural environments and ecosystems. The Earth Trusteeship Initiative is coordinated by a working group established by the Right Livelihood College of Bangkok, World Future Council and the New Zealand Centre for Environmental Law.
The Exponential Roadmap Initiative (ERI) is a collaborative climate initiative uniting companies that are innovators, disruptors and transformers to drive exponential action to halve emissions by 2030.
ERI supports leading companies to take radical climate action across four pillars: 1) reducing own emissions; 2) reducing value chain emissions; 3) providing and scaling climate solutions; and 4) accelerating action in society.
The initiative is an accredited partner of the Race to Zero, led by the High-Level Climate Champions.

The Foundation for Global Governance and Sustainability (FOGGS) is a think-and-do tank, serving as a research and ideas-generation centre, discussion forum and advocacy mechanism. FOGGS was originally inspired by the UN High-Level Panel on Global Sustainability (2010-2012) which, among other things, was instrumental in introducing the concept of Sustainable Development Goals. In 2018, FOGGS refocused towards a new “Grand Narrative” for globalisation. This includes the UN2100 Initiative to put forward innovative and practical ideas towards a modern, more effective, ethical and people-centred United Nations, with a central pillar in recent years being the proposed establishment of a Global Resilience Council, like a “UN Security Council” for non-military threats.
The Global Governance Innovation Network (GGIN) brings world-class scholarship together with international policy-making to address fundamental global governance challenges, threats, and opportunities. Research will focus on the development of institutional, policy, legal, and normative improvements in the international global governance architecture. GGIN is a collaborative project of the Stimson Center, Academic Council on the United Nations System (ACUNS), Plataforma CIPÓ, and Leiden University.
The Global Security Institute is dedicated to strengthening international cooperation and security based on the rule of law, with a particular focus on nuclear arms control, non-proliferation and disarmament. GSI was founded by Senator Alan Cranston whose insight that nuclear weapons are impractical, unacceptably risky, and unworthy of civilization continues to inspire GSI’s efforts to contribute to a safer world. GSI has developed an exceptional team that includes former heads of state and government, distinguished diplomats, effective politicians, committed celebrities, religious leaders, Nobel Peace Laureates, disarmament and legal experts, and concerned citizens.
The Institute for Environmental Security (IES) is an international non-profit non-governmental organization established in 2002 in The Hague, in order to increase political attention to environmental security as a means to help safeguard essential conditions for peace and sustainable development. The Institute’s mission is: “To advance global environmental security by promoting the maintenance of the regenerative capacity of life-supporting eco-systems.”
Integrity Initiatives International works to strengthen the enforcement of criminal laws to punish and deter leaders who are corrupt and regularly violate human rights. Integrity Initiatives International also creates opportunities for democratic processes to replace corrupt leaders with others who are dedicated to serving their citizens rather than enriching themselves.
One of the principal campaigns of Integrity Initiatives International is to establish an International Anti-Corruption Court. Such a Court would would fill the crucial enforcement gap in the international framework for combatting grand corruption. It would constitute a fair and effective forum for the prosecution and punishment of kleptocrats and their collaborators; deter others tempted to emulate their example; and recover, repatriate, and repurpose ill-gotten gains for the victims of grand corruption.
The International Environment Forum is a professional organization for environment and sustainability, which shares and upholds the principles and ideals of the Bahá’í Faith. The Forum promotes peace, the unity of the human race, and an ever-advancing world civilization that preserves the ecological balance of the planet.
Lapid Leaders Africa (LLA) is a non-profit organisation whose vision is to build a community of value-driven young leaders across the African continent. Lapid Leaders provides training and support to young leaders and managers for creating innovative solutions that build just and sustainable solutions to solve society’s problems.

The One World Trust exists to promote Global Governance which is accountable and effective for all.
Amongst the initiatives promoted by the One World Trust are a UN Parliamentary Assembly, UN World Citizen’s Initiative and a UN Civil Society Envoy.
One World Trust is also promoting education and research around global governance for Artificial Intelligence, and the strengthening of governance for climate protection and the effective delivery of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Partnership for Future Generations in Africa is a youth-led organization that works to protect the rights and interests of younger and future generations in Africa. The organization provides young people and youth-led organizations with knowledge and skills to engage in policy making. Partnership for Future Generations focuses on fostering participatory futures and foresight culture, long-term thinking and anticipatory governance for desirable futures in Africa.
Peace Child is a is a youth-driven educational charity based in the United Kingdom empowering young people to develop vital skills in areas such as sustainable development, communication, presentation and cross-sectoral teamwork, all of which are essential to securing their personal and collective futures. The organization is particularly focused on working with youth to understand the imperative of making progress on improving global governance in their lifetimes, and promoting discussion about this challenge through innovative media initiatives.
Unitive Earth Governance Collaborative is a Synergy Circle of the Evolutionary Leaders Circle which promotes a range of initiatives relating to earth governance. The Evolutionary Leaders Circle is a group of thought leaders from diverse disciplines who come together in synergy to help support a shift in consciousness. They are supported in this endeavor by the Source of Synergy Foundation.
World Federalist Movement – Canada is a not-for-profit research, education, and advocacy organization focusing on a more democratic and equitable structure to the global system.
WFM-Canada takes a comprehensive look at how humanity can share the earth most effectively, viewed through the lens of five special interest areas: Global Democracy, Global Peace and Security, World Environment, Global Justice and Human Rights and World Economy.
The World Future Council is an international organization consisting of 50 councilors, all outstanding global change makers from civil society, science, politics and business, supported by a program staff. WFC identifies, develops, highlights and disseminates effective policies addressing critical issues for current and future generations. Amongst its many programs is the prestigious Future Policy Award, which every two years rewards the most effective existing policies addressing a specific issue.
World’s Youth for Climate Justice is a global network of young students, lawyers and environmental activists who are leading the global campaign for a strong International Court of Justice case on States’ obligations with Regard to Climate Change.
The network succeeded firstly in motivating the government of Vanuatu and a group of like-minded countries to introduce a resolution into the UN General Assembly on the issue, and then to achieve a consensus vote in the UNGA to take the case to the ICJ. The proceedings have now started in the Court.
Young World Federalists (YWF) is a global network of youth working for a sustainable, just, and peaceful world through a democratic world federation. The perspective of YWF is that the current system of competitive sovereign countries fails to tackle the global challenges that impact us all. YWF advocates for a new form of global governance, one in which people cooperate globally to secure their common interest.
Youth Negotiators Academy (YNA) was established by youth to train, connect, and empower youth negotiators to participate meaningfully in key United Nations processes.
YNA also advocates to governments and decision makers the world over to increase youth participation in decision making. As part of this advocacy, YNA champions and shares best practice in relation to youth inclusion.
YNA’s founding program is the Climate Youth Negotiators Programme (CYNP) which focuses on the involvement of youth negotiators in the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) negotiations.
